Colliers Niagara completes sale of Brooklea Golf Club, Midland, Ontario.
The Brooklea Golf & Country Club golf course designed by Rene Muylaert was built in 1963 in the Heart of Ontario’s Georgian Bay. This professionally designed 27 hole golf facility features a beautifully manicured 18 hole, par 72, 6,587 yard championship course. The Club includes a 9 hole short course, practice facility, driving range, two retail golf shops and three banquet rooms. The “West Nine” is a par 32, 1,750 yard challenge.
Rebuilt in 1992, the 23,000 sq. ft. clubhouse features five separate event rooms and five outdoor lounge areas. With licensed capacity to accomodate up to 240 guests, the retaurant and bar overlooks the course. Catering to tournaments, the Club is also host to business meetings, conferences, cooking courses, weddings, and a golf academy. An 1,800 sq. ft. Pro Shop, constructed in 1998, offers a retail area, office, club storage and laundry. The Club boasts a fitness area, an outdoor heated pool, and well appointed mens and ladies locker areas.
